What is Hands-on Sexology?
We continuously accept new students into our apprenticeship programme, with the opportunity to later join the clinic as an independent practitioner.
Your profile?
As a Practical Sexologist, it is essential that you are emotionally grounded, empathetic, and comfortable with nudity, the human body and sexuality. You should have a healthy and fulfilling sex life and a genuine interest in helping other people develop their sexuality. Your motivation should not be a desire for greater erotic excitement or personal sexual experiences. You should be someone who naturally creates trust by respecting both your own boundaries and those of others. In our experience, these qualities cannot simply be taught. That is why we place far greater emphasis on your personal qualities than on formal qualifications or certificates.
Your education and development
Hands-on Sexology is a new field that helps people develop their sexuality through the body, the senses and direct experience. We do not believe that sexuality is learned through conversation alone. Like many practical skills, it is best learned through observation, experience, practice and reflection.
For that reason, there is no fixed curriculum. As a student, you will gradually become part of the daily work at the clinic. You will observe sessions, participate in supervision and progressively take on greater responsibility. When both you and we feel that you are ready, you can begin working with your own clients.
Some students are ready after a few months. Others need more time. The important thing is not how much time has passed, but whether you are ready.
Your training is fully funded by the clinic. As soon as you are ready to work independently with your own clients, you will have the opportunity to join the clinic as a freelance practitioner.
The most important tool in Practical Sexology is not your hands. It is the security other people feel when they are with you.

Work and earnings
For some, hands-on sexology becomes a personal development journey, for others a job, and some will be able to start an independent business. In our opinion, a hands-on sexologist should never have more than 1 or 2 clients a day. The work requires presence, effort and high concentration. Therefore, the price for treatments is at a place where you can create a good income with relatively few client hours. In this way, there is time and space for a rich and developing private life that provides profit when you work.

Tell us a little about who you are, what your values are and why you find our approach interesting. You are also very welcome to attach some pictures of yourself. Not because we are looking for a specific type of appearance. But because it helps us get a first impression of you as a person.
All inquiries are, of course, treated confidentially. If we believe that there is a possible match, we will invite you to a non-binding interview at the clinic.
Self-financed education
If we find that you have talent and motivation, but cannot offer to join the clinic as a freelancer, we can, in some cases, offer a self-funded training and mentoring program.
Such a course is tailored to the individual and is based on your experiences, strengths and goals. Therefore, there is neither a fixed study plan nor a standard price.

Experience the clinic as a client
We believe that a Hands-on Sexologist should be committed to both their clients' development and their own. For that reason, every student should also experience what it feels like to be on the treatment table and understand a session from the client's perspective. If you would like to apply for our apprenticeship programme, you can begin by booking a 60-minute Applicant Session. Like any other client session, it is planned around your goals, boundaries and individual needs.
We offer the Applicant Session at a symbolic fee of DKK 500.
