Tantra Massage & Tantric treatments
What is the difference between our approach and a tantric treatment?

Practical Sexology Versus Tantra in Copenhagen
Many people ask us if what we do can be described as tantric treatments. The answer is that the goal of both approaches is to create space for sexual development. However, there are a number of important areas where our approach differs from tantra. Here you can read about the most important differences:
We have no religious framework.
-
Tantra is based on ancient Indian philosophies, where a practitioner works based on religious rituals, mantras, meditation, and spiritual concepts.
-
Our approach is bodily and sensual without religious rituals or spiritual concepts. Our approach is down-to-earth and based on practical experience, and we speak a language that everyone can understand.
We have a positive view of ejaculation and orgasm.
-
In tantra, orgasm and ejaculation are not a goal, but more often something you need to avoid. This is especially prescribed for men, who in that way can increase their sexual power.
-
We believe that there may be situations where it is a good idea to avoid climax, but it does not work for everyone. For some, it can cause tension and frustration, and thus do more harm than good.
We can be intimate with our clients.
-
In classical tantra, the therapist often acts as a guide, holding a neutral role, which means they do not have intimate interaction with the clients.
-
In our approach, we can take a more active role and therefore have a degree of intimacy with our clients.
Should you choose tantra or practical sexology?
If you are interested in tantric philosophy and lifestyle, we recommend that you find a therapist who works from the tantric tradition. If you want a more down-to-earth and direct approach, without rituals and where reaching climax can be a natural (and developmental) part of a treatment, our approach may be preferable.
